The North Pole has its own post here in Naperville.
A mailbox sits near the corner of Van Buren and Main Streets for kids to drop off letters to Santa containing their holiday wishes.
The box was placed by the Downtown Naperville Alliance, which forwards the letters to Santa and his elves.
“Some of the letters that I’ve had the fortune of seeing that I’ve sent off to the elves not only include things that the kids want but also something they wish for for their families and they’re especially nice,” said Katie Wood, Executive Director of the Downtown Naperville Alliance.
Kids can expect a personalized response so they know that Santa read their letter, just be sure to drop them off by December 20th so Santa has time to reply.
And if they want to meet old Saint Nick, they can head to the Santa House on the Riverwalk. It’s open now through December 23rd - for a complete list of times you can check out napervilleparks.org.
The Downtown Naperville Alliance is forwarding the letters to Santa for free - just remember to include a return address so Santa and his elves can reply.
