England is apparently rife with cryptids. Sightings of banshees, dog men and other creepy creatures has caused an influx of DIY monster hunters to pop up across the country. Yet unlike their American counterparts, the Anglo variety of cryptid investigators have more modest cultural impact. No sexy TV shows or horror films for them.
Wondering what inspired these amateur sleuths, George Francis Lee ventures into the foothills of Horwich, England to learn what fuels one local group in their quest to find evidence of a giant cat creature called the Beast of Bolton.
