STORYLINE
CARLOS VIVES: BACK ON THE ROAD
Colombia artist Carlos Vives is going back on tour.
After an eight-year absence from the American touring scene, the Grammy winner announced Wednesday (26 June) that he will once again go on tour on the heels of his latest album "Corazon Profundo" (Deep Heart) released in April this year.
"It's a very organized tour that takes us back to an audience we captured some years ago. So we are very happy because we are traveling with original band members who founded our group and also with a new generation of music," said Vivero.
"It's a Colombian message, a brotherhood message, a message about love and peace with so much happiness because we make lively music and always leave a caring message so we leave peace in the hearts of our people," he added.
Como Le Gusta a Tu Pueblo Tour will kick off in Puerto Rico and then will move to Hispanic strongholds Orlando and Miami and round off with Boston, Atlanta, Newark, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and Houston all throughout July.
