As law enforcement officers, one of the most frequent things we do is have to drive our vehicles in emergent mode. Whether it's responding to an emergency, or engaging in a pursuit, it's important our officers have the training and skills to help keep them and the community safe. That's why our officers gathered at the Public Safety Center of Excellence at North Central Technical College in Merrill to go through training. This included classroom training on emergency vehicle operation and control, mock pursuits, high risk traffic stops, room clearing and more.
