I do not always bring a loaded grenade launcher to a party, but when I do, it's a Soviet party.
War Front: Turning Point is a real-time strategy game set in an alternate World War II. It was developed by Digital Reality, and published by CDV and released in 2007.
The game is set in a fictional, alternate World War II in which Adolf Hitler is assassinated in the early days of the war, and under the new chancellor, Germany occupies Great Britain. The game features both real life and fictional experimental war machines and units.
The game features three playable factions: The Allies - the United States, United Kingdom, and Free France - Germany, and the Soviet Union. In addition to a skirmish mode and online multiplayer, there are an Allied and a German campaign with eleven missions each.
War Front: Turning Point is a traditional base-building real-time strategy game and shares a number of similarities with Command & Conquer: Generals with regard to the tech tree, builds, and units. The game features hero units who gain experience throughout the campaign and have a number of special abilities. Three heroes are available for each side, and the heroes are also the main protagonists and antagonists of the game's story.
In addition to that, there is a core unit system similar to that of Panzer General or Rush for Berlin: Throughout the campaign, the player can pick an increasing number of units that get carried over between missions and grant the player an advantage at the start of the next mission.
