Biologist Soran Ahmed was in the Khoshk mountains in Iraq, when he spotted and observed a Bezoar ibex traverse on a sheer rock face.
On May 14th, the ibex began climbing higher and higher on the cliff face to reach some bushes to began grazing.
But the ibex was unfussed by the steep and perilous drop below, manoeuvring with such ease to continue the ascent.
The heart stopping footage showed the ibex leap to a tiny landing spot and turn around entirely without hardly any purchase on the rock.
