This video will show you how to run iOS 7.1 (modified version of iOS 3.1.3) on your iPhone 2G and it should work iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 1G, and iPod Touch 2G. This also might work on the iPad First Generation.

If you have a newer operating system then Windows XP, then you To run redsn0w on any computer newer then windows XP you will have to right click on redsn0w, go to properties, then go to compatibility, then check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and then select Windows 95, and if that doesn't work then try Windows XP (service pack 2,) and if that doesn't work then try Windows XP (service pack 3).
