Today we're sharing why agents and editors often reject manuscripts.
Books get rejected for two main reasons: 1) The editor (or agent) doesn't connect with the voice. 2) The editor doesn't connect with the character. We explain how writers can revise their pitches and query letters to appeal to literary agents and editors. We cover fiction, practical non-fiction, narrative non-fiction, and memoir.
