What is gerrit?
Gerrit is a web-based code review tool.
It is integrated with Git and built on top of Git version control system.
It allows merging changes to Git repository when you are done with the code reviews.
Gerrit has two stages:
The contributor uploads Changes to Gerrit with Git.
Use the web browser to make reviews. The review process includes the following steps.
Review Changes
Publish comments
Approve or abandon Changes
Repo structure:
Gerrit can manage multiple repositories. Branches are fully supported by Gerrit, each repository can have any number of branches.
Gerrit stores Changes, which are normal commits.
Terminology:
Change, Patch set, Submit

We can easily find the error in the source code using Gerrit.

You can push the code without using additional command line tools.
Gerrit can allow or decline the permission on the repository level and down to the branch level.
Gerrit is supported by Eclipse.
