Today's video is a blender 2.9 sculpting timelapse, a portrait again because I wanted to make something fairly quick. I also really wanted to try using hair curves again since it's been ages since I last used them.

I was especially inspired by how @Danny Mac 3D does the hair on his characters.
I used NURBS with a bezier circle for the profile, and adjusted the taper manually (alt+s) in edit mode. I'm *really* happy with how they turned out.
The character is supposed to be some kind of space/ night sky themed mage, or magical girl. Going in the only plan I had was her hairstyle (I really wanted to make cute bangs and buns), her down-turned eyes, and the night sky theme, everything else I figured out as I went.
I also ended up making her my skin-tone, cause I realized I rarely ever make characters like with my skin-tone, and it worked well with the colors.
the video is at 30x speed, the process took about 10 hours (so much for making something quick)
