Product Info: Lloyd and Jay are trying to free Master Wu, but they need your help to build the LEGO Ninjago Dawn of Iron Doom construction set. This 704-piece set, model number 70626, comes with six minifigures with assorted weapons: Commander Blunck, Krux, Acronix, Jay, Lloyd, and Wu.

To play out the action-packed rescue scene, kids build a poseable Snake Mech figure that stands nine inches tall. Two minifigures can sit in its cockpit, and it also has a missile-shooting eye, two detachable blade weapons that can be placed in the Snake Mech’s hands, and a swishing tail. There are also four plug-in points on the spinning Time Portal for the included translucent-colored Time Blades. Green moves time forward, blue makes everything go in slow motion, red pauses time, and orange reverses time. Turn the gears on the back of the Snake Mech to spin the Time Portal.

Kids also get to build a swamp fort where Master Wu is being held captive. The fort has a Vermillion egg and an egg-drop function, plus an opening prison and various decorative elements, such as a flag, swamp reeds, and snakes. The instructions show one way to build the fort, but kids can actually clip the fort together in a variety of ways for different layouts.

Plus, there is a buildable vehicle for one of the minifigures to ride.
