The devastating power of the yew warbow is famous - but it is the arrow that delivers this awesome power with shocking force. I am a beginner bowyer and archer and in this video I demonstrate how I make inexpensive approximations of Tudor battle arrows using parts readily available in the UK from eBay. Materials for the arrow cost just £7 - and the result is useable with heavy longbows/warbows drawing around 100lb or for re-enactment events. This is not an instructional video and the arrow I make is not 100% historically correct because I use modern materials and tools - this arrow build is simply an example of what can be done by a novice using cheap materials and tools found in the garden shed. It is for me, just great practice.
