For 1955, Hudson got a new Rambler version of it's own to share with Nash Dealers. Hudson discontinued the Hudson Jet, it's compact car once the AMC combination was completed. The 55 Rambler saw a slight restyle for 55. Rambler was a model name at this point not a brand name. It became it's own Brand in 1958 with Nash and Hudson vanishing for ever. If you hear the name "Nash" used on any car newer than 1957, the term is used incorrectly. There were no Nash Metropolitians or Ramblers after 1957, they were AMC at that point or American Motors
