If you have kids who love hot chocolate in the colder weather like mine, then these Marshmallow Snowmen are guaranteed to put a smile on their faces!
They can also double as an Elf on the Shelf treat for the kids. Let your elf bring back the snowmen from the North Pole OR just the ingredients with a sign asking if the kids want to build a snowman.
To make these Marshmallow Snowmen you need:
White marshmallows
Pretzel sticks (mine came from M&S)
Choco writer @mycakedecor
Cake pens @mycakedecor
Strawberry laces
How to make:
⛄️ use the black cake pen to draw eyes and a mouth on one marshmallow. Use the orange pen to draw a carrot nose.
⛄️ use the black pen again to draw two buttons on the second marshmallow and then a third button on a third marshmallow.
⛄️ break the ends off a pretzel stick and in a rotating motion stick them into the sides of the second marshmallow, one at a time.
⛄️ use your choco writer (follow instructions to soften) to add small dots of chocolate on the top of the third and second marshmallows. Then place the second marshmallow on top of the third, and the first on top of the second - so they are stacked up. Press down gently a few times on the top marshmallow.
⛄️ fold a strawberry lace in half. Wrap it round the snowman’s neck from the front and cross it over at the back. Pull the ends to the front and then use scissors to trim. Leave for 30 mins so the chocolate sets. Then you can store until ready to use in a deep food storage container or resealable food bag - just transfer them in and out carefully.
