[ Ссылка ] If you reload sooner or later you will need something to disassemble loaded ammunition. Either because you made a mistake or just want to salvage some components for one reason or another. In my case, I recently sold a rifle and still had a few rounds left. Because these rounds were loaded for that specific rifle they could not be simply fired in another rifle.
There are two main methods to remove bullets from live rounds, either with kinetic hammer or some sort of collet die. I never had much luck with kinetic hammers, but I quite like RCBS bullet puller. RCBS bullet puller is a die that can be used with a press and a caliber specific collet is required. In this video I disassembled some .308 Win rounds and a .30 cal collet was used.
RCBS bullet puller is quite easy to use and does not really leave any marks on the bullets and they can be easily reused. Also no mess with powder that is not easy to avoid in case of kinetic hammers.
