The research focuses on the performative character of the contemporary city, assuming that today it is becoming more and more difficult to describe it according to the only traditional categories of architecture. Huge cultural transformations are in fact impacting our way of thinking and behaving in space and this is reflected by the rise of hypertextual intelligence, that multiplies and overlaps many narrations and uses on the urban material structure, transforming any citizen into a curator. So, the thesis wanders how architecture can be designed as a framework for the everyday curatorial practices of citizens to happen. By questioning the traditional disciplinary perspective, the research presents a set of categories that offers an inventory of design strategies that include in the project this emerging population of hypertextual dwellers.
