Before the invention of carrots in making light soup, this was and is still how Ghana Light soup is been made Traditionally.
To make Light soup in ghana you would need few ingredients which includes fish.
Dry fish or smoked fish is used in preparing light soup but choosing the right fishes for the soup also counts.
The calories in ghana light soup depends on what you will use in preparing it that is if the protein used (meat and fish) is high in fat and cholesterol, then definitely the calories will be high.
It's really good when light soup is enjoyed with fufu on a hot afternoon lol.
