This channel is the epitome of pure vintage rattan cane weaving,interiors and products.
Usually we dont factor much into solid wood but mostly pure rattan on wood.
After intense pressure from my cousin.This is how we had them done.
1.Intense sanding on sanding with 3 different grits of sand paper.
2.Application of a mixture of dark oak stain and mahogany.Should be mixed evenly before application.
3.Light sanding with the lowest grit of sand paper after the application and drying of the doors has been done.
4.Its always safer varnishing the doors when there is direct sunlight .Four coats would serve as a better finish.Each coat in intervals of split hour.
5.Last coat of slow dry varnish.
