The Final Destination series is coming back with a sixth installment in the future! While we don't yet have a Final Destination 6 trailer, we do have quotes from series producer Craig Perry and original creator Jeffrey Reddick about what the Final Destination franchise has in store for us.

"We're toying with having it take place in the world of first responders: EMTs, firemen and police,” Perry said. “These people deal with death on the front lines every day, and make choices that can cause people to live or die… We're thinking that world might be an interesting way into a Final Destination movie, and one which can also generate unique set pieces in a very credible way."

But what does this mean for the lore of the franchise? Will it be a reboot, prequel or sequel? Where does it fit into the Final Destination timeline? Could fan favorite character William Bludworth (Tony Todd) be involved?

After covering near-death experiences in the form of a plane crash (Final Destination), highway pile-up (Final Destination 2), rollercoaster derail (Final Destination 3), NASCAR disaster (The Final Destination) and bridge collapse (Final Destination 5) what comes next?
