Dubbed Los Caracoles (snails) by the chileans, the road is a portion of the CH-60, also called Ruta 60. It connects Santiago to Chile to Mendoza in Argentina.

It features one of the most scenic drives in the world on a short section known as Los Caracoles (the snails). It's a terrible steep climb featuring more than 29 hairpin bends.
