The common causes of high blood pressure are renal and endocrine diseases, hyperactivity of adrenal glands or pituitary, hypo/hyperthyroidism, alcohol, steroids and certain stages of pregnancy. The reason is unidentified in majority of patients. Some of the research authorities believe that HBP is due to an increase in sympathetic nervous system activity. Hence it's important to relax and calm down to normalise blood pressure!
Complications of High blood pressure:
1. Stroke
2. Hemorrhage resulting blindness or visual defects
3. Heart disease
4. Kidneys failure
The poses are planned very carefully in this video. If one can manage to Practice this 6 days a week for next 12 weeks, the blood pressure will normalise within 12 weeks of time! **Practice every pose for 3 mins**
I highly recommend practicing Pranayama everyday just after practicing asanas and before Shavasana.
