The Aurat March ( عورت مارچ or عورت احتجاج, Women's March) is an annually-held social/political demonstration, organized in various cities of Pakistan including Lahore, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar to observe International Women's Day. The first Aurat March was held on 8 March 2018 in Karachi. In 2019, it was organised in Lahore and Karachi by a women's collective called Hum Auratein (We the Women), and in other parts of the country, including Islamabad, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Quetta, Mardan, and Faislabad, by Women democratic front (WDF), Women Action Forum (WAF), and others. The march was endorsed by the Lady Health Workers Association, and included representatives from multiple women's-rights organizations. The march called for more accountability for violence against women, and to support for women who experience violence and harassment at the hands of security forces, in public spaces, at home, and at the workplace.
Unfortunately this is going towards wrong. This seems to be a war between Liberals and Islamic fundamentalists. The large population of Pakistan fallow the Rules of Islam and they thought that their Islam is for the rights of a Women and the other hand the Organizers of Aurat March thought that this is not enough and society is not paying the respect what Women should have.
