Voice feminization surgeries are generally performed for trans women and women with a deep voice due to various reasons. Making the voice thinner is extremely important for the perception of femininity. For this purpose, different surgical techniques are available. I use the surgical technique that i developed and called as "Tensioning Glottoplasty". In this technique, which both shortens and stretches the vocal cords, it is possible to obtain a thinner voice. It also promises a faster recovery, since there are no stitches on the vocal cords.
