These are the Top 5 craziest laws and rules in North Korea. Starting right with the most bizarre one. As in North Korea all men and women have to choose their haircut based on this government-approved selection. There are 18 possible haircuts for women and only 10 for men. Other hairstyles are prohibited. Kim Jong Un wants to keep his hairstyle absolutely unique, so dare you copy it. Now, if you are above 17 you have to go and vote in the elections. Well, it isn’t that hard, in fact, it’s pretty easy as you can vote only for one option, the dear leader. Why would you want to stay in a country like that? Because you have no choice. Anyone who attempts to cross the border without permission is allowed to be shot down by the guards. And of course, permission is impossible to get. But how do you get so many guards? You order compulsory military service for everyone. Mind-blowing 10 years for men and even crazier 7 years for women. Cherry on the top is the official ban on microwaves.
