In Warsaw, the capital of Poland, there is an impressive Soviet monument to fallen soldiers during World War II.
When the Red Army "liberated" Warsaw, they were faced with a Warsaw in ruins, after more than two months of heroic resistance against the German Nazis, but during this revolt, Soviet troops did not cross the Vistula River to liberate the city, they simply watched it being destroyed. The Poles expected help from the Soviets, but how can they expect help from a country that invaded them in 1939, after signing the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact with Adolf Hitler's Germans?
How can we expect help from an army that murdered intellectuals, politicians and top military personnel in Katyn?

Without ever forgetting history, as Russia already in the 70s of the 18th century did not respect Poland and its independence, as a sovereign country, undertaking with Prussia the division of its territory (Partitions of Poland).

Now with the Russian aggression against Ukraine, we need to rethink these Soviet monuments, which aim to praise an aggressor people.
How can we believe in Putin or Russia, after so many bad examples? Isn't it time for Russia to split into several countries? A country with so many different languages, religions and cultures, with xenophobia inherent to these different identities... I leave it to your consideration.
