The Medical Management of CBRNE Events PER-211 course will equip pre-hospital and hospital medical personnel with the skills needed to ensure proper patient triage, treatment, and transportation in the event of exposure to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) weapons. Exercises conducted in a CBRNE scenario will reinforce classroom lectures and interaction. First responders will use their training to demonstrate proper techniques for assessment, triage, mass decontamination, treatment and stabilization. In addition, course participants will receive training on the proper techniques for protecting themselves and limiting cross-contamination.
