As STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® is an extreme sports competition series featuring wood chopping and sawing disciplines, it requires a good amount of wood. For this reason, we are aware of our responsibility in ensuring sustainably grown and harvested timber. That is why we only use purposely grown industrial wood, which is planted specifically for maximum sustainability. The wood is cultivated on certified poplar plantations in Belgium and the Netherlands and gathered with minimum impact on the natural environment. After the competition, the waste wood is reused for sustainable purposes like bio mass and energy. ♻️🌳
