Gubbels has a big fleet of Liebherr earthmoving and demolittion equipment: wheelloaders, wheeled excavators, excavators and the new Liebherr R960 Demolition high reach demolition excavator. This new Liebherr R960 Demolition is replacing their R944C VH-HD high reach demolition.
Gubbels has choosen for the new R960 Demolition because it has more working height and reach. Also it can remove heavier foundations and can do smallerer projects with bigger attachtments. Another big and important issue is the R960 Demolition has a Stage 4 engine. Which reduces the emission and results in sustainable demolition. The maximum working height of the R960 Demolition is 33 meter. It can work with an attachment of 3,5 ton shear. There is also a 29 meter version available. Also an option is an 3,5 meter long extenstion for heavy demolitions. On this project is the Liebherr R960 Demolition working with a Demarec MQP-30 Multi-Quick processor ([ Ссылка ]). For the short boom it has a Demarec MQP-60 shear and DRG-65-DN demolition grab.
This machine has an VH-HD (hydraulic adjustable) undercarriage for good stability and easy transport. The total weight of this machine is 93 ton. The total counterweight is 11.760 kg. plus an additional counterweight of 4.020 kg. The Liebherr demolition excavator has the option with hydraulic removable counterweight. So it makes the transport much easier and reduces the weight. Of course it has a tilting cab (30 degrees) and very robust en strong cabine protection. For safe operation of the machine it has the Liebherr LDC system. (Liebherr Demolition Control). That system measures the position of undercarriage and angle of boom, stick and tool and warns operator when he is working out the reach of machine. The Liebherr R960 Demolition is of course painted in the beautiful greend and white company colours and is a real calling card for the company.
