Weezer is an American rock band, which formed in 1992 in Los Angeles, California. The band members are Rivers Cuomo (lead vocals, lead guitar, keyboards), Patrick Wilson (drums), Brian Bell (guitar, backing vocals, keyboards), and Scott Shriner (bass, backing vocals). Former members of the band include Jason Cropper (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Matt Sharp (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Mikey Welsh (bass guitar, backing vocals).
Island In The Sun is the fourth track on their third album, Weezer (also known as the Green Album), released in May 2001. It was also released as the second single from the album on August 2001.
