Happy Lunar New Year! This holiday, also known as Chinese New Year, is one of the most important holidays of the year in many Asian countries. On this episode of Kids Newz, our hosts, Ethan and Hannah will show you a few ways that Koreans enjoy Lunar New Year. Korea is their mom's home country, where she was born!
👉 Every time the Lunar New Year comes around, it is a day to have fun!
During the introduction, Hannah will say “Happy Lunar New Year!” in the Korean language, then you will see the whole family perform a fashion show while dressed in traditional Korean clothing called “Hanbok”.
After that, the Kids Newz family visits a Korean BBQ for some delicious food, and then they play “Yutnori”, which is a traditional Korean game involving a game board with throwing sticks!🍜
