March - it brings both delight and horror for gardeners. The spring warmth brings inspiration, but the dire need to sow soon starts to take over our lives!
Today I'm planting two varieties of spinach, the first of this year's beetroot and a great cut flower, alchemilla mollis. Now it's becoming warmer, beetroot can be direct sown and placed straight into my raised beds. Meanwhile, both the spinach and alchemilla mollis into seed trays for the propagator.
So, if you're looking for three seeds to sow in March, they're my top three. Of course, there are LOADS more, so get sowing - if you have space!
