Thermobaric warheads are really interesting explosive devices. Unlike traditional high explosive devices, thermobaric devices are a staged explosion that disperses a fuel core via an explosive burst charge. The fuel ignites and creates an massive explosion. Thermobaric explosions do not achieve the same high level of pressure as do high explosives, but the pressure wave is longer. This can wreck havoc to builds and personnel near by.

You might remember our hell cannon and 3D printed rocket projects in past videos. Well, we are testing thermobaric warheads to load into rockets and for our new and improved hell cannon. We have a few kinks we need to work out with this device, but the design is a winner. It also makes one heck of an explosion.
