Breathtaking 3.5 weeks of road trippin' Carretera Austral. More than 3,000 kilometers with uncountable snow capped mountains, turquoise rivers, pure glaciers and the clearest lakes. We wildcamped in remote wilderness and on beautiful campsites in different national parks (for free before mid of December). Many hikes, rafting and dolphin/sea lion watching completed our adventure which turned quickly into a memory to be remembered for a lifetime! We took 3 major detours to Raul Marín Balmaceda, Caleta Tortel and Futaleufu - every single detour was worth the extra kilometers! Our favorite hike was a hike up to the base of Cerro Castillo and we loved the road views along almost every single kilometer of Carretera Austral.
