I reviewed a spot welder that I purchased on Amazon. This spot welder was targeted for beginners like myself. I spot welded a coin battery for a Compaq Armada 4160T, the hibernation battery for an Compaq LTE Lite and started on spot welding cells for the main battery for the LTE Lite. I did test the coin battery that I made which is half of the video. It does seem like I started over halfway through the video. I was waiting on battery cells for the hibernation battery.
If you don't like sudden sparks, spot welding is something I would advise against. Some cells let off quite a spark when you spot weld. Even on the lowest setting. I'm not sure if that is normal or if my technique needs to be perfected. It's probably the latter.
