Windhoek City police officer Phillipus Mwapopi testified in the High Court about his role in the supply of N$4,1 million worth of drought relief fish to Fishcor which was allegedly never delivered.
State prosecutors said the fish products supposedly sold by Mwapopi's company called Wanakadu Investment were not delivered to Fishcor but the state-owned company paid about N$4,2 million to Mwapopi's close corporation. That money is alleged to have been distributed among Mwapopi, and fellow accused in the Fishrot corruption scandal including former Fishcor CEO, Mike Nghipunya and board chairperson James Hatuikulipi.
