Air defense units of People's Liberation Army (PLA) conducted the "Blue Shield-18" live-fire drills in northern China. The exercise aimed at improving their combat capabilities using computerized systems. The officers and soldiers from the Army, the Navy, the Air Force and the Rocket Force worked together to build an air defense system. The RIMPAC 2018 military exercises also got underway this week.
