Indian law says that only in special circumstances, a working chief justice can be there and that too for a month only. From the information that I have, he (the newly elected chief justice) has also a very short tenure... Supreme Court appointed him 7-8 months back, but why did the Central govt took this much time to send him here, I think he could have been sent earlier..."
