Tabuk: Located along the north-west coast of the country, facing Egypt across the Red Sea, Tabuk province is one of the most historical provinces in the Kingdom having distinct landscapes, rock formations, ancient archaeological sites and most beautiful beaches. It is the only province that has a good amount of snow falls in every winter.
Tabuk, the capital city of the Tabuk region in northwestern Saudi Arabia, has long been a resting point for Jordanian and Egyptian pilgrims. Its rich culture can be felt in Souq Twaheen, famed for selling patterned rugs and goat-hair tent covers. Visitors flock to Tabuk to explore ancient archaeological sites and the setting of the story of the prophet Moses, who lived east of the city for a decade.
Hail: Famous for the twin mountain ranges of 'Aja and Salma, and for being the homeland of historic symbol of curiosity and generosity, Hatim al-Ta`i, Hail is the eighth-largest province by area and the ninth-largest by population.
The area is known to have been inhabited since at least the Paleolithic period, with several archaeological sites dating back to 10000 BC to 7500 BC. Several sites with archaeological rock art and other artifacts have been found in the province.
Qassim: Located at the heart of the country near the geographic center of the Arabian Peninsula Qassim is the richest region per capita in Saudi Arabia. It is known to be the "alimental basket" of the country, for its agricultural assets. The area is actually relatively rich in water and has soil and a climate that is suitable for growing most crops, including grapes, oranges, lemons, grapefruit, mandarin oranges, pomegranates and many vegetables.
