Wastewater Absorption Trenches are extremely common stormwater management system for residential homes within the Hawkesbury, Nepean and Blue Mountains area. The design of these systems is complex and individual to each home.

Check out the brand new system we installed for a client at Windsor Downs recently.

Background:
After attending a property of Windsor Down we discovered that the existing Stormwater Absorption Trench wasn’t performing. Unfortunately, a shed had been built over the top of the existing trench so we were unable to access it without pulling up concrete - no thanks!

The solution:
We designed a new Absorption Trench for the client further down the property by diverting the catchment pipe around the shed. This new absorption trench will hold approximately 3000 - 4000 litres of stormwater runoff that will then be safely and efficiently disperse into the ground within the property.

After completing the system we then filled the trench, level off the area and placed back the original paving we had to remove while excavating for the new pipe work back in place leaving the property as we found it.
