🔹 DU offers both 3-year and 4-year undergraduate degree options. It's up to the students to decide if they want to continue to the 4th year; it's completely optional.

🔹 After 3 years, students can earn either an Honours or a Programme degree.

🔹 Only those who achieve a CGPA of 7.5 or above after 3 years are eligible to pursue the 4th year.

🔹 Completing the 4th year comes with added benefits:

Honours students will receive an Honours + Research Degree.
Programme students will receive a Programme + Research Degree, equivalent to an Honours multidisciplinary degree.
🔹 With a 4-year UG degree, students can directly apply for a Ph.D. (via UGC NET exam). If you prefer to pursue a Master's degree, it will now only take 1 year to complete.
