Demo of a Raspberry Pi Pico based MIDI to CV converter, using an MCP4725 12-bit DAC.
Track 1 on the Elektron Model:Samples is set up as a MIDI track
Tracks 2-4 are the drums
Track 5 is the lead sound
The MIDI signal generated by the Elektron Model:Samples is connected to the Raspberry Pi Pico's UART0 RX pin via the MIDI interface board.
Using the Simple DIY Electro Music Projects MicroPython MIDI library (find it at [ Ссылка ]) the code then fires off a trigger/gate signal on one of its output pins and controls the DAC via I2C to generate a V/octave CV signal. The gate and CV signals are connected to the Moog Werkstatt-01's GATE IN and VCO EXP FM IN inputs.
Please excuse the sloppy playing - my keyboard skills aren't exactly stellar (and neither are the Elektron's keys).
