**EDIT FOR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS**
1. Yes, he really was 10yrs old at the time. I know a lot of the players are small, it’s 10yr old football and he was tall for his age. He (as of 2020) will be a Freshmen in High School this year playing for St. John The Baptist on Long Island.
2. The football is the standard sized (K2) for 10yr old football for most leagues across the country.
3. Yes, the Ref threw the flag for the Coach (who happened to be the player’s dad) running on the field. He waived it off afterwards.
4. Yes, he was wearing gloves, but they were literally the same gloves he was wearing all season long and in NY, they can not be sticky or tacky in any way. They are inspected by the officials before every game and they looked at them again after the catch. No, it wasn’t because of the gloves.
5. No Uncle Rico, I don’t think you’ve done better. If you have, please post the video link, we’d love to see it. If you don’t have video evidence, how about just say “Great catch, kid!” 😉
