These giants could not stand the sunlight and only came out at night. They had very fair skin, blue eyes, and red hair. It is said that they were very shy and only came out at night.

According to the Cherokee legend, the Moon-Eyed People lived in a large underground city, and their city was equipped with many secret passages and galleries that extended for miles. The Cherokee believed that the Moon-Eyed People had mystical powers and were able to evoke spirits and manipulate magic.

There is also a legend among the Lakota Sioux that tells the story of a tribe of giants who lived in the Black Hills of South Dakota. These giants were known as "Canotila" and were described as very tall and muscular, with superhuman strength. According to the legend, the Canotila were a peaceful tribe who lived in harmony with nature and shared the land with wild animals. However, one day, the Wakinyan, the thunder spirits, arrived and brought rain and wind, destroying their home. The surviving Canotila fled the Black Hills and were never seen again.
