Temperance is part of the Eight Laws of Health. We must be temperate in all things, according to the Word of God (See 1 Corinthians 9:25 KJV). This is especially true in regards to our journey to heaven. In diet especially is this true and a proper diet is part of the laws of health as well. We must return to the God's original diet for man, which is plant-based (See Genesis 1:29; 3:18). In biblical history, a plant-based diet was shown to be superior (See Exodus 16; Daniel 1). In fact, Elijah was given a plant-based diet by angels before his translation to heaven (See 1 Kings 19:5-8 KJV). As the state of the world becomes diseased in these end times within the air, land, and sea animals (See Hosea 4:1-3 KJV), it is especially important to return to a plant-based diet for our health of mind, soul, and body. As we look for heaven, we also realize that we must prepare for our Edenic diet, a plant-based diet, in heaven and the earth made new (See Psalm 78:25-35; Matthew 26:29; Revelation 21:4 ; 22:1-2 KJV). Now, for those who will argue with the line relating women causing the fall of men. I know how that sounds, but this is only speaking in the context of temperance and temptation (See Proverbs 23:26-28 KJV: "My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways. For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit. She also lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men." A few verses above this cluster of Scripture at the beginning of the chapter, it gives wisdom concerning appetite -- Proverbs 23:1-3 KJV: "When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee: And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite. Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.). I pray that God blesses your contemplation upon the poem.
