The long-drawn 7-phase election in the world's largest democracy -- in which the BJP is hoping for a historic third term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi -- comes to a close today, with voting on 57 seats. The counting will take place on Tuesday.
All 13 seats of Punjab are also on today's list. The election is expected to be triangular, with INDIA allies Congress and Aam Aadmi Party having a "friendly" contest that is expected to split the non-BJP vote and play into BJP hands.
