I've decided to make another video because the first one had a very bad illumination and the run time was very short. This time I adjusted the frequency and set the voltage to 13 Volts.

Something interesting occurs when the zone is bombarded with arcs carrying a big amperage, after some hours, the exposed zone turns soft and fragile, like it had started to rot. It seems the arcs damage the apple at a cellular level. P.D: That apple has been in the fridge several months, I should clean the fridge more often.

Technical data:

The circuit revolves around a 555 timer IC, it drives a MOSFET that sends high current pulses through the primary of a flyback transformer, which steps the voltage up to around 1000 volts, the 5 stages with 3kV, 10nF caps do the rest.
