The function of the tests in this video is to subject the Dualtek and Voltek NS power line warning systems to similar scenarios which were conducted by the ACPA in two separate studies in 1997 and 2006 with other powerline warning systems. These studies tested the operation of power line warning systems (the Made SA, and Sigalarm Legacy system) in multiple scenarios to verify and analyze the results.
Disclaimer: In this video the “Shutdown” feature which integrates into the hydraulic controls, E-Stop, or PTO is not connected. As a result the movements of the boom after the Dualtek indicated “Shutdown” were made by the operator.
