This video demonstrates how to alternate skeins of yarn seamlessly when knitting in the round. This method works really well when you want to prevent pooling or flashing with your hand dyed or variegated yarn.

When at the end of your round, bring working yarn to the front. Your alternate skein yarn strand is waiting in the front, move it to the back (or however your next stitch requires) and begin knitting, that's it. The key is to move the non working yarn in the front. No twisting is required. At the next end of round, follow the same steps and change yarns.
