This is my analysis of my game against GM Zbynek Hracek from the fourth round of the Mitropa Cup 2018. The Mitropa Cup is a team competition with 10 teams from Middle Europe. In the fourth round Germany played against the Czech Republic. I played with the White pieces and opened with 1.e4 to which Hracek replied with the Sveshnikov Defense. I surprised him with a side line and soon we reached an unbalanced position with a pawn majority for me on the queen side and a pawn majority for him on the king side. Hracek sacrificed a pawn to get active piece play. The position was complex as my knight was out of the game and my opponent started a king attack... Certainly one of the craziest games I have played in my career! Enjoy the beautiful variations :)
