A volcanic eruption just began in Iceland, sending lava flows towards a major geothermal power plant. Lava has rapidly covered an area of 1.69 square kilometers, but in addition, this eruption surprisingly produced some minor ash emissions. This video will discuss the ongoing eruption, which began with an initial lava output fo 190 cubic meters per second.
